For Joyce, one of the best parts of working at York Veterinary Hospital is getting to meet new people and their pets every day. She enjoys creating a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door and is always happy to help make their visit as smooth as possible.
Joyce is currently studying Chemistry and Biology at the University of Toronto, where she’s working toward her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Being part of the front desk has given her the opportunity to learn from an experienced veterinary team while gaining a deeper understanding of client care and the day-to-day operations of a busy animal hospital.
When she’s not at work or studying, Joyce enjoys spending time with her two ferrets, volunteering with wildlife, and finding new opportunities to learn about animal health and welfare. She loves being surrounded by animals and is excited to continue growing in the veterinary field.
