Just Paws Animal Rescue is a non profit organization located in the Greater Toronto Area. They rescue animals that are in high kill shelters, abandoned, abused, or unloved. These animals are fully vetted and neutered/spayed before being re-homed. They also accept owner surrender pets as they realize that hard times may fall on good people and that the needs of the animals may not be met. Just Paws volunteers are compassionate non-judgmental animal lovers who want to bring awareness to the atrocious amounts of animals living in shelters. Healthy loving animals would be a welcome addition to any home, yet are often overlooked.
They are an experienced group of people who have volunteered many days of their lives to animal rescues and have decided to spread the love and create their own rescue. They are an all volunteer, foster home based program. They are not a kennel or shelter and do not have a central office or adoption location. Their volunteers work out of their homes and all of the dogs are housed and cared for by foster caregivers in a home setting. They have NO paid employees. All positions held are by volunteers that give their time and talents to promote the Just Paws mission.

We adopted Ollie through Just Paws Animal Rescue. She was being taken care of by a foster Mom who clearly loved her and was taking great care of her. The application and review process was very detailed which we took as a good sign that they make sure that the animals in their care only go to safe and loving forever homes. Ollie is a happy, loving, wonderful addition to our home and loves to visit Dr. Peiman for cuddles and care.
